Toyota Interactive Exhibit at the 2010 Summer Action Sports Dew Tour

 

I just finished a great project for Toyota in partnership with Campos Creative Works and Tadpole Marketing on Toyota's activation at the 2010 Summer Dew Tour.  The team put together an interactive booth for Toyota's vehicle lineup of 4Runner, Tacoma, Yaris, Corolla and the Prius.

The 2010 Summer Dew Tour is an action packed action sports event that takes place in five cities over the summer months from June through October. Top athletes compete in BMX, Skateboarding and Moto all summer long. Saatchi LA commissioned artists Jim Phillips, legendary artist for of Santa Cruz Skateboards to come up with the design of Toyota Booth called - Toyota Adrenaland.

 

TOYOTA ADRENALAND

The Toyota exhibit included a number of vehicle interactions including the Corolla Face Off, a video experience with pro skater Bob Burnquist and BMXer Jamie Bestwick.  Kids were able to shoot their own video inside the car and with Bob & Jamie in the video with them.

Also, we included the  Yaris Photo Booth, A photo booth built inside the Yaris which is always a big hit at any youth event. Visitors go to the website to retrieve photos. The other were a video experience inside the Toyota 4Runner dare and the Tacoma Freak Out, a time challenge against the clock - who can run around the car faster!

My favorite part of the activation was the crazy mascot we created for Toyota, the kids loved him!

 

BOB'S PRIUS TREEHOUSE

This Prius Treehouse was a custom-made tree that the Prius fit inside of. Attendees were invited inside the vehicle to hear Bob Burnquists story about the connection between man, nature and machine.
